Justin Rothshank is a renowned American potter with a unique design aesthetic. Loosely wheel-thrown, his ceramics have an organic shape and a textured surface that feels like gentle waves. The Poppy Pitcher is crafted with earthenware and glazed with a generous, free-flowing coat of milky white glaze. After the first firing, Justin decorates the pitcher with decal transfers and fires them a second time. Each pitcher varies slightly in size and texture, making it truly one of a kind.
